Join the Southern Baptist Chaplaincy and the Office of Engagement programs to assembly 300 blessing bags to be distributed in the Syracuse community.
When: Tuesday, November 6th, 2018
Where: Noble Room, Hendricks Chapel
Why: Engage with new people, pack 300 blessing bags to hand out in the community, and enjoy pizza.

SU Catholic Center
Service Saturday, November 10th from 10am-12pm.
Join the SU Catholic Center tidy up the property surrounding Christ the King Retreat Center before the winter weather arrives. Pizza is included. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Jeremiah Deep, email@example.com.
United Methodist Church Food Pantry
Friday Food Pantry- Welcome, support and facilitate access to Food Pantry items for our community. Unload our food truck, sort & stage foods. Hospitality area with snacks and coffee and clothing closet each need facilitating. Support CNY Diaper bank access for families. Make food delivery to Hendricks Chapel Food Pantry. Support voter registration and enrollment into Pro Literacy campaign. Spanish speaking/multi-lingual volunteers especially needed. 3.5 hr. volunteer opportunity

Crochet, Knit and Conversation
De-stress, have meaningful conversations, and make new friends– all while learning how to crochet . Knitters are welcomed to join in. The program runs every Friday during the academic year from 11:30am-12:45pm in the Chaplain’s Lounge, lower level of Hendricks Chapel. No experience is necessary and everyone is welcome to join in! There will be a crochet instructor on hand. If anyone is interested in joining the group and would like to teach knitting, I welcome you. All materials are provided.
