Go-to-High-School, Go-to-College

Emilio Lonell (AS, ’16) directed workshops for middle school students at South Side Academy with Alpha Phi Alpha’s Go-to-High-School, Go-to-College program.

Emilio and his teammates helped develop life skills such as leadership, communication and healthy eating. They also taught lessons on sexual education. This experience helped him develop his skills as a leader. Overall he found it very fulfilling to connect with the students and inspire them to achieve higher education.
