She’d Do it Again in a Heartbeat

Alexandra Berge (AS, ’18) spent three weeks with the Green Lion Group in Bali learning about the culture of the Indonesian island and teaching local children English. She would go spend 4 hours a day working with the kids on learning basic English words. She tried to focus primarily on health and personal hygiene.

Alexandra has never done anything as amazing as this experience. She loved every moment of it and the kids were absolutely amazing. She thinks that she probably learned way more from them than they learned from her.

Would she do it again? In a heartbeat.
