From the Classroom to the Arboretum

Laura Palladino (PC ’15) spent part of her winter break at Cora Hartshorn Arboretum and Bird Sanctuary in Short Hills, NJ. She cleaned animal cages, helped with promotional design, and took the pictures you see here which the arboretum will use in their promotional materials.

Laura said she enjoyed being able to take the photography expertise she is developing in Newhouse and use it for volunteer purposes and promotional opportunities for the arboretum. Laura added, “I also learned new information about chinchillas that I had never known, so it was an informational experience as well.”
