The Honors Program is a selective and demanding program for the University's best-qualified and most highly-motivated undergraduates. Honors courses and programs enhance the education provided by your home school or college at Syracuse. You will still take many classes in your home college, study an established curriculum, and develop important professional and personal relationships. You will still have a huge variety of co-curricular activities open you, as well as many living and dining options. Honors is designed to bring greater intensity, cohesion, and intellectual excitement to these activities.
The Admissions Process:
A select group of high school seniors will be invited to join the Program, based on information gathered from their initial applications for admission to Syracuse University. Others may receive invitations during their first two years at Syracuse .
Interested high school seniors may apply by contacting the Honors Program; call 315/443-2759 or send an email to honors@syr.edu.
