The mission of the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation is to help young people of exceptional promise reach their full potential through education. They focus in particular on scholarships for outstanding individuals with financial need. The Graduate Award program awards scholarships worth up to $50,000 each to college seniors or recent graduates to attend graduate or professional programs.

Award: Each award covers a portion of educational expenses, including tuition, living expenses, required fees, and books for the graduate degree chosen. The amount and duration of awards vary by student based on the cost of attendance and the length of the graduate program as well as other scholarships or grants received. The maximum available per student per year of study is $50,000 and the maximum length is six years.

Eligibility Notes : At a minimum, candidates must:
1. Be a senior or a recent graduate of an accredited US college or university.
2. Have a bachelor's degree by the start of the fellowship semester.
3. Have a cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.50 or better on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent).
5. Not previously have been nominated for the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation graduate scholarship.
6. Plan to attend a full-time graduate or professional degree program at an accredited university in fall of the fellowship year. This must be the first graduate degree the candidate has ever pursued.
