Significant funding is available for eligible students to support research and creative work on Honors Capstone Projects. Eligible students must have an Advisor and an approved project.

From ten to twenty projects will be funded annually up to a maximum of $5,000 per project and can include:

  • reimbursement for research materials, supplies and expenses;
  • research travel reimbursement;
  • a combination of these items;
  • other necessary and reasonable expenses.;
  • in unusual cases, students may be awarded summer wages to work on the project.

Eligible items for reimbursement may be those projected in the future or those already incurred. Eligible students include Honors juniors and seniors currently working on Capstone Projects. Occasionally, sophomores who are planning Capstone Projects will also be considered. A single application applies to both the Crown and Wise-Marcus.
