Some things to remember when requesting use of the CPCS/Honors Van:
1. This request must be submitted to the Mary Ann Shaw Center for Public and Community Service at least one week before the date the van is needed. Earlier submision will increase the likelihood of availability of the van. CPCS is located in the Schine Student Center, Room 237. The vans are parked next to the Sci-Tech building in lot Q4.
2. It is your responsibility to check back with CPCS before the date of the use of the van was requested. Please come to the office and pick up your transportation memo.
3. Cancellation of a scheduled trip must be done at least 24 hours in advance. Contact the Dispatcher at 443-3051 if you need to cancel your transportation.
4. Please fill out a separate request for each day you will be needing the van.
5. Faculty planning to drive the van must pass the University's Driver Safety course and must read the Driver's Manual for the CPCS/Honors Van prior to any request.
6. Generally, the Honors Program uses it's own drivers. You may request a driver from CPCS for local runs in the City area, but this is not guaranteed. CPCS drivers do not go out of town.
7. You must return the van with a full tank of gas.
8. If you have an accident, alert CPCS immediately! (See glove compartment for instructions.)
