Advising is an important aspect of a student's total academic experience. All of the Honors faculty advisors listed below can advise students about their disciplines and about the HonorsCapstone Project. They may also make referrals to other faculty with whom you should speak.

The Honors Program works with each School and College to coordinate advising assignments with that College's preferred system for making advising appointments. You may find, therefore, that the faculty advisor to whom you are already assigned is the Honors faculty advisor for your intended or declared program of study. Or, you may be assigned to a faculty advisor who is not listed here; in this case, in addition to meeting with your official faculty advisor, please make an advising appointment with the Honors faculty advisor below as you prepare for registration or consider other academic planning issues.

Remember to also meet with one of our honors staff advisors at least once each semester to assure that your academic plans are well-conceived, and that you're making progress on Honors requirements, as well as thinking about the long-range issues. If you are "undecided" or "exploring" or are interested in multiple disciplines, we suggest you meet with the Honors Advisor listed for the areas that interest you, and also meet with a staff advisor.
