The Renée Crown University Honors Program supports student learning through engagement with the public by helping students become involved with signature service programs and by making connections with other vital campus resources. Involvements may be off-campus or on, and can include some internships and even paid experiences. The following resources are only starting places designed to help you begin to explore the wide array of opportunities available to Syracuse students. Civic Engagement through Coursework

Some courses at SU include a service learning component. These can be an efficient way to make progress on your academic requirements and Honors civic engagement requirements simultaneously. For example, every year there are several sections of WRT 105/109 (fall) and WRT 205/209 (spring) that include this component. Additional examples of courses that have included a service learning component appear below, and you may come across others.
